DDIN Rated Handline Hooks

One of our electric utility customers was performing their yearly rigging and lifting certifications and a question came up about handlines.  "These are used in lifting applications. Are they rated?" The 3" hand line blocks and the rope are both rated at 1,000 lbs with a 5:1 safety factor, but what about the handline hook?  Upon extensive testing it was found that there was not a handline hook on the market capable of withstanding 1,000 lbs of lift with a 5:1 safety factor, in fact, nothing came even close. Now there is, the DDIN Rated Handline Hooks are engineered for tough workloads and are more than capable of lifting 1,000 lbs. with a 5:1 Safety Factor, plus they're approved by the International Lineman's Rodeo Committee.
